and tour is approaching
We called this week to solidify our setlist for the upcoming tour, and Gep made sure we were playing “Only You” again. I think we all have a soft spot for this song; we recorded it as a stand alone single in between album one and two, and much like our only other stand-alone-non-holiday-single, Unlucky, we put it out because we just loved it. No other context needed !
Practicing “Only You” reminded me of this early version I captured when Gep and I lived in an apartment together in 2021. The same apartment we occupied when Inside Every Fig Is A Dead Wasp was released, which you might recognize from the Shrug and Gears videos. Fabulous times. Also, lets give it up for blonde Gep <3
